Today was a good day. We went visiting again. Something new. We went to the World War II museam. Joe had been dying to go since we got to Kiev. We went with some friends. It was quite interesting. Actually truth be told it was more interesting for Joe than I. We all know he is into that type of thing. What I found so fascinating was that both my grandfathers had been connected to all that I was seeing. There was even a letter fron Italy to a soldier. In Italian. There were lots of pictures,letters, weapons, badges, big tanks and planes.What was gruesome was pictures of dead people from concentration camps. There is a new couple here from Quebec. They called us yesterday and went for dinner with them with our other friends. All 6 of us went out tonight again. We are very lucky to always be surrounded by such wonderful people. That is one thing that this city is giving us.
Sorry my blog entry is not so exciting, but there is really not much to say. Good food, and good company. That is what our life is until our next appointment.
With that I will say good night and sweet dreams. Especially to our wonderful nephews and niece that we miss so so much. ( Alain that includes you. Tu nous manque beaucoup).

Just to say that I'm thinking of you guys. Yes, Adele you made more new friends again - Enjoy the good company and take each day as it comes. It must feel good to be away from work for a bit, and spending time with your honey. Adele and Joe, enjoy each other and soak up all of this time you are sharing. Glad to hear you had a good day and that you are in good company. The museum sounds like it was interesting...but definitely more of a "guy" thing! Adele, you'll just have to get in some shopping to help balance things out ;) At the risk of repeating myself, just want to let you both know that we think of you daily and love the fact that you do not seem that far away thanks to this blog!
